They are now on the lookout for an experienced Credit Controller to join their thriving in house Credit Control team. This role comes with an annual salary of up to £33,000 dependant on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full credit lifecycle, from assessing creditworthiness to managing aged debt.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to resolve queries and ensure timely payments.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices, negotiate payment plans, and consistently reduce debtor days.
- Conduct regular reviews of credit limits, ensuring compliance with company policies and minimising risk.
- Prepare detailed reports on debtor performance, highlighting trends and risks for senior management.
- Collaborate with internal departments and clients to resolve billing discrepancies effectively.
- Identify and implement enhancements to credit control procedures, streamlining operations.
Candidate Experience, Skills and Attributes:
- Demonstrated success in a credit control role, with a solid track record of achieving collection targets.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities to handle sensitive conversations confidently.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
