We are recruiting on behalf of a top-tier national employment team in Birmingham for a Senior Employment Associate on a permanent, hybrid-working basis. The role
You will advise some of the largest and most recognisable employers across retail, sport, manufacturing and financial services, handling a mix of:
Complex advisory and contentious employment matters
Employment Tribunal strategy and delivery
Corporate transactions and workforce projects
Acting as a trusted adviser to in-house legal teams and senior stakeholders
Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
Contributing to business development, client training, and thought leadership
This permanent role offers autonomy, visible client exposure, and a real chance to influence the team's future.
About you
You will bring:
5+ years' PQE specialising in employment law
Experience advising large or complex employers
Confidence leading Tribunal matters with minimal supervision
A commercial, pragmatic, solutions-led approach
A keen interest in leadership, mentoring, and practice growth
Advocacy experience and international/cross-border work are advantageous but not essential.
